Symbolism in this monotype is vehicle to suggest ideas from ancient cultures of Levant and Egypt. Shapes remind of an eye, fish and one cell organisms from the dawn of time. Lines swirl into a shape of labyrinth, implying journey, passage of time and movement. Made by applying oil inks to a plate as if painting but painted plate is pressed on paper through mechanical printing press. Result is one copy, unique and one of the kind artwork. Paper size: 15.7"x11 (40×28 cm) Image size: 6"×8" (16.5×20.5 cm)
