"Proteas and Wildflowers" is a Fine Art Giclée Print on Hahnemühle paper from the original watercolour and is very Australian featuring many of our native flowers plus Proteas. We live in a semi-tropical part of Queensland and the plants that grow in the surrounding bush are my constant inspiration. The original watercolour artwork was a finalist in the 2023 Australian Watercolour Muster Biennale and was exhibited along with 29 other finalists in an exhibition at the Cairns Court House gallery in Far North Queensland. I’m a mixed media artist, water-colourist and creator of original unique cyanotypes and I love to experiment and try new things. I am inspired by the natural sub-tropical environment that my home here in Noosa Queensland has to offer, particularly the colours, textures, lines and shapes that abound wherever I look.
