The original was painted in watercolor in my studio. I love the spirit of the giant sunflowers found in Southern Utah during the summer. Their wild beauty dancing in the afternoon breezes inspired this painting. My studio paintings are fashioned from sketches, reference photos, or from my creative imagination. When in my studio I use a huge drafting table or my large metal easel. The Giclee print dimension is 22x30 and is printed on 300 pound Fabriano Artistico extra white cold press paper using archival ink. The print comes unframed and flat in a box, is signed and numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

My name is Miri Weible. I am the daughter of Les Clark, the first of the Nine Old Men who were the foundation of the Walt Disney Studio. From the time I was five, I followed my dad around the animation studio with my sketchpad. My best work was done under an old movieola in my dad's sunlit office. I have found inspiration in the beauty of the southwest and have painted its turquoise sage, golden rabbit brush against the vermillion cliffs on location using watercolor and acrylics.
