“WHAT WILL THE NEIGHBORS SAY (grey)”, is a very limited-edition archival pigment print on cold press acid-free paper. The image is 36” x 36” with a 3” white boarder on sides and top, and 3-1/2” at bottom, making the actual paper dimension 42-1/2” x 42”. The edition is 6, with 2 artist proofs (A/P). The one for sale here is A/P 1. It is signed on front, lower right, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. My favorite thing about this print is, that even though the text is in all upper case, the soft and minimal variations of grey suggest whispering. At the same time, the words have a monumental quality about them. They look like they could be embossed in steel, or as a carved relief from stone. I really like the way this dynamic play backs and forth.
