About The Artwork
The human body is capable of amazing things. It is strong yet flexible. Powerful yet gentle. Capturing both the strength and beauty of the human form at its most incredible is captured in this piece. Intricate geometry is used to create balance and make the subject "dance". Strong geometric forms, cut out of MDF and layered create the free flowing form. All the curves are connected and related, allowing them to work together in harmony. This piece is part of a pair of Acrobats. Ideally they should "dance" together. Each having their own story to tell, but together giving the whole "show".
