About The Artwork
This unique basketry was crafted using artist-grown and harvested Spanish moss and grapevines and dyed using different variations of crushed minerals and salts. Woven with sustainable reeds and seagrass from an all-women-run farm, this piece represents many natural elements arranged in a functional form. Can be hung on a wall for a three dimensional sculptural effect or placed on a shelf or table for interest. Is fully functional as well as an art piece.
