Balance Sculpture

You're very welcome to check out my website and facebook anytime! Thoughts Within the reduced expression of my works, I'm concentrating on the mission that's important for me – EMOTIONS! It looks like I'm contemplating nothing, but for me it's everything. Since many years I'm exploring the presence and absence of feelings with a curiosity that won't decrease. This journey leads me – through the narrowed representation of my bronze works and the abstraction in my paintings – to a pure being of soul, that can't be expressed with words. In this context, it's important to me to capture the sculpture in its emotionality, spirituality, intellectuality and physicality. In order to get a clearness as big as possible, I'm acting as an “emotion–researcher” (Süddeutsche Zeitung, Feb. 2016) and put my dreams over my rationality – while I'm working, and in my free time as well. A lot of things can be solved subconsciously, that could not have been solved with consciousness. During the realization of contemplation, a silent and calm room comes into being, in which the figures stands, that the large open-minded contemplator can not only see, but also feel. A clear recognition feature of the bronze works are their big feet, that stands for their down-to-earthness. A particular characteristic of the paintings are light and shadow, with ups and downs, expressed through their multilayer technique. – it is like a reflection of life. The sculptures are mainly made of bronze, the paintings are worked in oil. Those materials deserve respect for their high valence, as well as fantasy and true handwork. I intentionaIy use classical materials, with which I can work timelessly. This leads to a deep authenticity between me and my exhibits.
