With Corona we find ourselves in a thought provoking time. I wanted here to literally make a bee in her bonnet as the hive has become her bonnet. My intention was to create a happy thought provoking sculpture with a positive look to the future

I was born in England but have been living in Holland for 35 years. I've been working for myself as a ceramic artist for 25 years. My passion is throwing so my sculptures are also all made out of thrown pieces. I also enjoy making unusual teapots. Last year i won two prizes in China with my teapots. I get my inspiration from everywhere, from something i might have seen on the news to people waiting for a bus. I like to "use" my art for expressing an opinion, either political, environmental or whatever other random thought i might have. I also like to put some humor into the work even though it can be a serious subject. I'm hoping to make people think but with a smile on their face.
