Black kitsch. Sheol's sun. Sculpture

"She'ol in the Hebrew Bible, is a place of darkness to which all the dead go, both the righteous and the unrighteous, regardless of the moral choices made in life, a place of stillness and darkness cut off from life and from the Hebrew God." But even in Sheol sooner or later the sun must rise. "Black kitsch" - this series of my works in the style of ethnofuturism. Each piece of the series is a fantasy archaeological "Out-of-place artifact", which could be found during excavation. Wood, alpanit. The wood artificially aged and stabilized by fire, oil and varnish.
