About The Artwork
The black thorn has been used in protection spell..carried in leather pouches for uncounted years a thorn also represents the suffering of Jesus...in this piece the thorn is tucked inside a dried blood red rose petal it is at once a talisman of protection and also a reminder of the sentence from Genesis ''And God gave dominion of the fowl of the air the animals on the land and the small creeping things of the earth....' I think that command has been overused and abused
