Born in France Aug 14. Autodidact Painter and Sculptor. Lives and works in Paris. Exhibits in France and internationally. Rhythms, colors and lights, like a musical score made out of repetitions, breaks, overlapping sounds, in the middle of which the body of a woman is ensnared, realistically or virtually fragmented.Interaction of an individual in feminine form and the universe in motion. The woman is conceived as a symbol; (sensuality, motherhood, beauty) she is an allegory. This character, essential for my painting, is less and less socially recognizable (only draped in a cloth) however she is still in society since she is wearing something. The presence of a human figure is in itself a reference to society. Although not in any given situation, it could potentially be imagined so, since it is realistically represented. The evocation of any definite situation is open but nevertheless it is secondary. The body is perceived as being part of the universe. The physical existence of the individual through cosmic space is perceived as in suspense, in a form of pointillism, opening a more vast field of vision and consciousness.Chromatic choices are made out of the junction of different planes going sometimes in conflicting or antagonistic directions. The form is born of the junction of several lines or colored masses going in different, opposed or antagonistic directions, the general unity is the sum of many breaks, inversions, diversions, oppositions. The composition born of this fusion creates a disturbing feeling - for it is moving, dynamic, powerful and also likely to disappear or evolve. It creates a somewhat frantic rhythm which disturbs, manipulates, convinces, and also gives a voluptuous power to the figure. There is simultaneously opposition and fusion, duality of the figure and the chromatic rhythms of the painting. It is the meeting point of the reality and the unspeakable.
