About The Artwork
Brier \b-rier\ as a girl's name is of French origin, and the meaning of Brier is "heather". The English word also describes a wild rose with small, prickly thorns. She wears a too big a jacket, playing with a stick doll that she made herself. Her hair is in a matted at the back of her head, tied loosely. She sit her haunches at the corner of a broken wall. She looks up. Something is coming, she hears it and it makes her happy. This is edition 2/20
