About The Artwork
Clay, glazes. Hand molding, painting inside and outside, total detailed execution, 2020. Large burger-shaped jar. This object is one of my many answers to the topic of consumer culture. I try to make my works bring emotions and utilitarian benefits for a long time, so I choose clay (as timeless media), as opposed to a waste of money on something instantaneous and useless. Such objects exist outside of time. I was inspired by cartoons with the style of a comic of drawing. I want the viewer looking at my work to build their own associations - I think this is the most important aspect.

Victoria is a Moscow-based artist born in Podolsk. During school receive her first academic art education then continued study at the University of Hertfordshire. The artist studied two disciplines: Fashion Design B.A. and Fine Art B.A. (Hons). She received a B.A. (Hons) in 2019 and has exhibited and participated in artist exhibitions/competitions since 2015.
