ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My goal in this work was to capture both the movement and emotional connection of two dancers. I want the viewer to feel like they are watching the figures dance not simply viewing one stationary moment. I also was always struck by how effortlessly dancers could perform the most difficult movements and I wanted to capture that in this piece. This Piece is made from steel rebar, oak and concrete. This is a very large piece and displays best in an open area.
