About The Artwork
Her name is Osha, Daughter of the Sun of the Inuit People She has natural and simplistic beauty. Often tribal people come to me in my doll making by surprise, emerging from the clay. I was actually making another type of doll, but as she came through, I knew who she was meant to be - Daughter of the Sun. I am not sure of mythological stories from the Inuit, perhaps she has a story.
