ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This cast bronze sculpture is inspired by Baroque architecture and art. It is a version of an original hand carved stone sculpture. I hope people are intrigued and inspired by the dynamic movement. It is complex and simple at the same time in my opinion. I love to work in bronze and stone as they are the most durable materials. FYI the dimensions given are for the sculpture. The black granite base is 10.5" x 10.5" x 3" high. Making the overall height of the sculpture as shown 38.5"

About Karl Geckler Karl Geckler is an architect and sculptor based in Chicago, IL Karl graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia and has worked for the architectural firms SOM, GREC Architects and Taller de Arquitectura, as well as maintaining a private architectural practice. He studied stone carving in Pietrasanta, Italy and tool and die/welding in Chicago. His passion is the art of stone carving and he has taught hundreds of students this craft. He is currently focused on sculpture and furniture designs.
