ABOUT ARTIST Yet another Masterpiece by the Famous Artist’s Great Grandfather Gotcha Sibanda Senior. This stool was used by a First Generation Paramount Chief and kept in the family for many years in The Mashonaland West District of Hurungwe, Zimbabwe. A true telling that Art Carving is in Gotcha’s Family DNA. PRODUCT SIGNIFICANCE The elephant’s raised trunk hoisting any amount of downward pressure and weight is a Display of immense power and it represents the power held by the African Paramount Chiefs, the highest ranking Political Leaders in African society. The elephant is using all of its might to support and empower the chief so that he may fulfil his duties. This custom made masterpiece was hand carved using one of the most expensive types of timbers, African Blackwood which is by far the most difficult timber to carve by either hand or machine. In the African culture, the elephant represents power, strength and wisdom. This stool was made for one of The Shona Tribe Paramount Chief, whose Son has taken over the throne after the passing away of the father and it’s on the market to source funds to support destitute children in the community. Offers for more are welcome as this is disposed for a great cause, only to provide funding support and Noxtel Investments Corporation in conjunction with the likes of African Curio is standing by to support communities in which our Artists came from, giving back to the communities and society to help source funds for a Great Cause, and provide them with education support. WHY PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT This absolute beautiful stool is perfect for, use in your home or just for keeping a piece of history of the African Royal families. Great for family gatherings and to be used by someone of Powerful Influence in the Community or Family. Particularly on those important Community or Family Meetings generally used by men of Royal Influence as it is a Statement Art Carving Piece showcasing a representation of the power of the chiefs. Keeping this Rich History in Tip Top Condition for future Generations to witness too.
