Sculpture: Bronze on Bronze, Stone.
Eve - as known from the “Genesis” – was a woman created by God and a friend of Adam. Since then, it became a collective name of all the feminine... Here is where this unexpected expressive dramatic effect, power and beauty come from, all these made up this image so far from the external “church goodness.” Here Eve is in a certain state of shock, caused either by birth from Adam's rib, or the fact that they were driven out from Eden. She is restless, she is dynamic, developing in action. Here Eve embodies the unpredictable side of the world, an action, an effort, a desire, and temptation of knowledge, which Adam may have lacked in a harmonious paradise of God. The sculpture also shows that Eve is our ancestor, of uneasy and suffering earthly “human beings.” Cubistic expression of volume, rapid intensification in the vertical mass, the bronze showing young green force also bear evidence of it.
