About The Artwork
Faith is a work which employs the mediums of porcelain, western red cedar and common steel spiral nails as to investigate material, artistic, and global relationships. The sculptures shape is delineated through an artistic extrapolation of the typical 40 x 48 x 5 inch shipping pallet and makes reference to the billions of wooden pallets used worldwide daily. The structure, aesthetic and subject have been inspired and influenced by Coleen Wolstenholme's giant plaster barbiturates, Damien Hirst's elaborate pharmaceutical cabinets and General Idea's Ronald Gabe, Slobodan Saia-Levy, and Michael Tims' extensive pill installations.

Born Vancouver Canada 1990. Studied Biology and Chemistry at Trinity Western University before transferring to Emily Carr University of Art & Design in 2011 to study sculpture, ceramics and painting.
