Femen! Is a special part of my "Poor art of luxury collection" made up by little glass sculptures that I thought (in 2014) in order to spread everywhere any form of women's liberation and rights. I created metaphores of the important and daily figures, the movements and symbols promoting women’s issues. The Feminine/Feminist is a question in evolution – as an artistic work in progress…belonging to women and men. I chose glass to highlight the fragility of the woman condition, but at the same time, the regeneration by the assemblage to express the need, the beauty and the possibility to recycle and to restore a broken integrity. Olympe represents Olympe de Gouges, our collective mother – brain and author of the Declaration of the Rights of Woman and the Female Citizen. 1791. Now, I like to work by making interact some of these glass sculptures with other recycled, restored and reinvented materials: to search new approches between tradition and design and fresh forms among different, discarted subjects - giving them a new life. Why this attitude? To search for expressive alternatives of the artistic language, creating a context of justice and beauty through art. Where justice is beauty, as in the ancient Greek vision. All the little sculptures of original Murano glass are made at Abate Zanetti School’s laboratory in Murano Island, 2014 with genuine scraps of glasses bought there. The recycled ceramic are made in Italy too. These sculptures can both be hanged to the wall or just laid. Signed Shipped In a wood crate.

Visual artist. Archaeology indie researcher, Philosophical counselor. What can be art, this elusive world that fascinates us? It could be a conceptual emotion that involves us because concerns all us - us, the whole and the other. For Silvana Abram the word art represents the red thread that links the various experiences of her life - the authentic core, which appears declined in several ways in the field of humanities: archaeology, literature, philosophy. She loves to make semi-abstract painting and create imaginative-dreamlike characters and scenarios through simple lines, with vibrant colors and pervaded by a humorous allure: using professional materials, also as a guarantee and respect for people for people who love and collect art. Based in Italy and Spain.
