ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is my fun way of looking at extra packaging! I do get very frustrated at all the short use of packaging just basically to get something home before the wrapping goes in the bin. In this way you could take your vase/wrapper to the flower shop and get it filled with flowers to save on the paper or plastic it would normally be wrapped in! It would also make a perfect gift for any anniversary. It's made of hand thrown porcelain and has been fired to 1200 degrees C for extra strength!

I was born in England but have been living in Holland for 35 years. I've been working for myself as a ceramic artist for 25 years. My passion is throwing so my sculptures are also all made out of thrown pieces. I also enjoy making unusual teapots. Last year i won two prizes in China with my teapots. I get my inspiration from everywhere, from something i might have seen on the news to people waiting for a bus. I like to "use" my art for expressing an opinion, either political, environmental or whatever other random thought i might have. I also like to put some humor into the work even though it can be a serious subject. I'm hoping to make people think but with a smile on their face.
