About The Artwork

The Funny Girls are a symbol of the empowerment of women all over the world. They carry all types of culture and influences. They like to dance and love life! The Funny Girls are styled every time in a different way with a sense of humor and camp elements. They are standing on a ceramic-nandu egg pedestal and are made of painted and waxed resin. The headdress are a collection of found objects and collectables of different materials brought from roadtrips. The nandu eggs are coming from a bird loving man in the neighbourhood who has nandu ´s living in paradise behind his house. I love Sid the male nandu.
