Vi abbiamo suonato il flauto e non avete ballato, abbiamo cantato un lamento e non avete pianto... (LC 7,31-35) “‘We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.’ Finalmente l'ho finita, dopo mesi di "lotta" (senza pensare all'acconciatura) oggi ho sentito le sue note chiare e limpide vagare per la collina. Nel periodo in cui ho cercato di farla uscire l'ho vista ballare e poi piangere. Ora l'ascolto suonare, ringraziare e se c'è silenzio, posso sentirla pregare.... Scultura in legno di ulivo bello come il marmo e splendente come l'avorio.

Giorgio Serafino, born in 1975 from Civitanova Marche, he currently lives in Montecosaro (MC). Traveler, writer and sculptor. Since 2010, together with his wife Giuliana Foresi, he started traveling on a Vespa 50 special from 1978 (Il General) along: The route66 from Chicago to Los Angeles (2010), Thailand, Laos and Cambodia (2011), Italy (2011), South Africa, Namibia and Botswana (2012), India (2013), Argentina and Chile (2014), Italy, France, Spain and Portugal (2014), Canada and the Northern United States (2016) Italy, Slovenia, Hungary and Romania (2017). Published: "L'America in Vespa" from Chicago to Los Angeles on route66" (Mursia publisher 2011), winner of the national travel literature prize "Il Viaggiautore ". "Paradiso di polvere", in the heart of Thailand, Laos and Cambodia" (Mursia 2013 editor). "America by Vespa" e-book in English with the introduction of the poet American Jack Hirschman. " India e mi fissi con gli occhi di una capra" "India and you stare at me with the eyes of a goat" (2015) New handwritten edition "America on a Vespa, under the skin of the Route 66 (2017) From 2015 he begins to sculpt wood and stone and in:  2016 exhibits his works at: -Macerata in the gallery (Laboratory 41) - in London at the (Grid Art Fair) and in 2018 some of his works were selected to participate in the 5th International Art Exhibition "PREMIUM LIGURES" city of Lerici where he receives the "Special Jury Prize" also in 2018 he participates in the 7th edition of the international art review "Premio Città di Montecosaro" where he receives the representation prize "Galleria Artem A Bratislava" In 2019: Participate in the Bartolomeo D'Alviano Captain of Ventura Prize Artistic Competition Exhibition where he receives the 1st prize Why do I do it? I don't know why, maybe because I can't help it, it instincts me, it's a desire, it's a need, I don't know, there aren't many "artistic" words or reasonings that I can use, I don't have any sentences effect, I can say however that: it's the only way I have now to be able to thank God in some way ...
