Gerhardion is an assemblage realized in Stuttgart and belongs to the new concept "Silent Tribal Sounds" created by Raúl 2014. SILENT TRIBAL SOUNDS (Text in german available) Silent Tribal Sounds ist die neue Serie von Raúl, die uns einen plastischen Blick in eine klangliche rituelle Welt eröffnet, in welcher ihm das universelle Medium der Musik als Quelle der Inspiration dient. Seine Annäherung ist nicht musikalisch in einem herkömmlichen Sinne, sie stellt vielmehr eine formale, ästhetische und symbolische Perspektive der „körperlichen“ Erkundung des Instruments dar, bei welcher der Klang in Malerei, Objekte und Assemblagen, die aus Form und Material komponiert, eingefangen und verewigt wird. Ein künstlerischer Vorschlag, um uns zu Entdeckungen fossiler Körper anzuregen. Musikalisch gesprochen ist Silent Tribal Sounds aus einem rhythmischen Repertoire von Vorstellungen, Arrangements und visuellen Interpretationen komponiert. EIn künstlerischer Streifzug durch die eklektischen kulturellen Welten von Raúls Werken, die uns mit der Imagination eines Luthier und einer abstrakten Archäologie dazu einladen, wiederentdeckt und angehört zu werden mit unserem betrachtenden Auge.

The main creative source in my work is on the one hand, the human being, his trail, his nomadism and secondly the protocultural symbolism of signs such as glyphs, ideograms. These are frequently used elements in my work, expressing my fascination for discovering graphic language analogies among primitive, ancient and contemporary iconographies. To carry out my work I use traditional and digital techniques such as painting, ceramics, assemblages, drawing, photography, and digital art. Each concept means an exploration, a reinvention of its meaning. Signs and Trails, R-Books, Eternal Human, Silent Tribal Sounds are some concepts where I find an archaic and modern bridge, a journey through universal analogies without distinction between past and future.
