Global Force : Blue Membrane Sculpture

A membrane made of aluminum is deformed by an encompassing natural force field. The deformations increase towards the edges and corners and transform the membrane into a thin, relief-like wall sculpture. A special fastening system preserves the floating, original effect of this work and enables simple, secure wall mounting. Remaining fields and traces of ink in dark blue nuances withstood repeated manual processing with the finest abrasive fleece. The bare areas of the aluminum are in a matt depth and do not reflect. Depending on the type of lighting conditions and the viewing angle, the intensity of the colors and the shadows cast change. The wall sculpture is subtly signed with the initials cR on the front.
