About The Artwork

Harvest was created in 2000, during the time I was finding the excitement of taking my work off the wall into a full three dimensional space. Harvest was featured in an exhibition at Grounds For Sculpture iand in a solo exhibition at the Arkansas Arts Center in 2003.The sculpture is consistent with all of my work in content and media. Environmental in form, it depicts the last harvest of the corn in the Fall. Subdued color and simplified aesthetic gives it an Asian, Zen feeling that the viewer will respond to. The work is suitable for corporate, school, hospital, large spaces or museum acquisition. This work is quite heavy due to the steel and stone used. However we shipped to Grounds For Sculpture in New Jersey in a pickup truck for minimal cost. It is shipped on a palette and requires a forklift.
