“Ironic Moss” Air Force 1 Sculpture

I created these one of a kind Nike Air Force 1s to show my view on current “sneakerhead” culture and trends. Most sneaker heads will buy a “grail” shoe, meaning it has a lot of value, both monetary and personal, and never wear them. Some shoes will never see the light of day, only to be kept in a box. With that in mind, I decided to flip the script. I added Spanish moss to the toe box and swooshes of this pair to voice my opinion on the matter: shoes are meant to be worn. Shoes are meant to be traveled in. Shoes are meant to get “worn” in. No need to worry about scuffs and grass, if the shoes are made with scuffs and grass. -Size pictured is a US Men’s 10- *these shoes have been scuffed to a degree to show wear* *will come in a 16x12x6 glass show case.
