About The Artwork

The Kaleidoscope object is made of a artificial pearls, marbles, Annona seeds, bronze powder, ruby corund and glass containers attached in a specific order to a wooden bowl. The wooden bowl represents the Universe, while the other, smaller components stand for the diversity of all existing objects, entities etc. that constantly arrange and re-aarange making new forms and combinations just like a kaleidoscope does. Kaleidoscope was created as part of an installation called Matrix. Matrix consists of 16 elements that could be arranged and re-arranged whenever one feels like it. They are ordered in a 4 x 4 matrix. The common thing between all of them is that they are made from a bamboo bowl serving as a background in the widest meaning of this word. However each element is made of different additional objects to convey its unique meaning.
