About The Artwork

Lady Venus model Snake The Return of the Legend series is a play on associations from the world of pop culture in juxtaposition with the female figure created during the Paleolithic period. The famous Venus of Willendorf being, according to some, a magical image, an element of fertility worship, might as well have been the first toy of a Paleolithic girl. I am therefore restoring an acceptable primary function and moving it 22-24 thousand years into the future to a world where the creation of the image of women is handled by professional studios and industry. In the flood of pop images, woman becomes a designer toy and Legend claims the right to reactivate it through such play.

He finds in them a link between design and the original belief in animism. A link between the culture of the Palaeolithic and hypermarket hunters.
