ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I make bowls that consist of many layers of clay, that I stretch really thin. I stack the layers and use an oxide on the sides to define the layers. I then glaze the work with a high fire food safe glaze and fire.. The work is a statement bowl, beautiful as a centerpiece, but can also be used for large salad or whatever food you’d like. Functional art!
