Layla Sculpture

After a successful career in the performing arts, Kristina decided to pursue her interest in the visual arts. She enrolled at the Art Students League of New York and studied sculpture under Anthony Antonios and Arslan. Today, she works out of her studio in Litchfield, CT. She has exhibited with and earned honors from the American Artists Professional League (2018 Barbara Newington Award for Traditional Sculpture), Manhattan Arts International (2018 Algoma Art Award), and at the Salmagundi Club (Ann and Bruno Lucchesi Figurative Sculpture Award). She was commissioned to create the 2019 Rudyard N. Probst Award presented to Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Prime Minister Norway and Director-General of the World Health Organization. Kossi's sculptures, Canon and Gigue, Luft and Peace were exhibited at the NSS' 84th, 86th and 87th Annual Awards Exhibition, respectively.
