Red rock art glass sculpture by 1178designs. We fabricated those using - as mold - real rocks found in our house on Long island. This give them a magical look - a - real like feel. give amazing color shadows when light on - a medley of red and orange and brown and camaieux color art glass - done in the Tiffany technique - there is an opening at the bottom to change the bulb - wired - high low switch last 2 pictures show 5 rocks grouping. Signed and dated. 1178designs started in 1978 when Jean Luc Comperat and Minouche Waring merged their experiences into designing glass and stained glass decorative objects. Jean Luc graduated in 1977 as an architect from L'Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts de Paris,France, and Minouche had been working for advertising agencies designing sets for print and TV commercials. The work of 1178designs has been featured in New York Magazine, New York Times, Daily News, Casa Vogue, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, ABC news, Scottish TV and many other publications. In 1997 they received an award for "excellence in design" from Metropolitan Home Magazine.
