About The Artwork

This piece represents Man honouring and embracing Mother Earth, an expression of the deep Love and Gratitude of the child towards the Sacred Mother. Man is depicted in the form of the root because, just like the root, we draw strength from Mother Earth as she gives us life and nourishes us. It's only natural that we express our feelings that come from the depths of our being. When looked from a certain angle, the root portrays a caring hand gripping the Earth. The main idea is that to remind that we are one with the Earth and our life, and the life of future generations, depends on the way we treat Her.
