Art Description

Sculpture: Steel, Spray Paint on Stainless Steel, Steel, Other.

Masai 2971 Aldebaran (Star man). It is a sculpture of the cycle of sculptures "Condensation dispersion of matter". From the technical point of view it is a condensation of thousands of stainless steel elements welded together and forming the figure. Figure that is characterized by the balance between dense areas of material and areas that highlight the voids. Only a part of the matter is present but this missing matter increases the expressive force of the sculpture. From the expressive point of view the sculpture is intended as an archaeological find coming from the future halfway between futurism and primitivism. This sculpture represents a man of the stars and precisely a Masai warrior (from the name Aldebaran or coming from the galaxy of the star Aldebaran) of the future intent on contemplating the immense and stunning world.
