All of us, provincially clinging to money, ambition, greed and unbridled profit. But there she is, the McMoney to remind us that, regardless of class or status, time, finite runs out. And once drained, no matter what God we appeal to, our cause will not be seen, because the judgment has already been rendered. And all hazards that we have turned in, in such interests, will be distorted and devalued by our final. This Kpavio’s proposal aims to provide a reflection on the current economic situation that has spread globalized manner in which the money has been erected in its core and foundation, the spotlight spinning society uncovering values like greed, unethical or ambition. And just to get a clear message, the artist has paid particular attention to the choice of materials that make up the work. Thus, the original skull made of plaster cast was applied with a finish coat paint metallic gold brown color, a clear allusion to gold metal and symbols of wealth and extravagance that is associated. Furthermore, a denture was incorporated at this time made of silver, another closely linked to money and materials reflecting the desire to cover everything and take on the world. And finally, the work was completed with the inclusion of 35 pieces embedded throughout the skull: 22 coins from different countries, expressing the globalization phenomenon, and 13 bases of watch movements, parts specifically chosen to convey the idea that if the basis of society is founded on wrong values, the result can not be other than the current social and economic situation. Consequently, the union of all the parts work together in a reflection of the reality that surrounds us and the principles on which it is based, but in which the skull acquires an undeniably strong presence to remind the quality of finiteness of economic flows and, by extension, say capitalism come sooner or later to an end.
