About The Artwork
This Iberian mouflon skull was donated to me by hunters from Spain. All my skulls are chemically treated before any paint to avoid bone decay. The shield is made of oak and was recycled from an old French taxidermy trophy. The patters were burned on the wood prior to varnish. the dimensions in cm are 27cm x 32cm x 17,5cm

Beauty can not be separated from the tapestry of daily life. In some cultures art was produced by artisans and was enjoyed in everyday use. Skulls and classic bicycles are some of this objects that can irradiate within their structure atractive lines to the human eye. I would define my work as creating symbols with this upcycled items I find in the streets of Bristol or foraging in the forest of the South West and Wales.
