About The Artwork
My Mother inspired this Artwork. I hope it will conjure up memories and thoughts of caring and inspiring parents. I originally modelled the piece using very hard Herculite(2) Plaster, and carved the finished facial details. It is a face which is in my memory, as well as in old photographs. It is a "Relief" style piece, a kind of illusion which may remind the viewer of other Artists` works, of whom I admire also.
