About The Artwork

In relation to the name of the institution (Rozenberg), the rose was the theme for this project. Porcelain was chosen because it evokes the sense of fragility, with it’s transparency adding to this thought , whilst it is actually exceptionally strong and durable. Within the context of the institution, the porcelain refers directly to the fact that humanity finds itself in a vulnerable position. The rose as a symbol of love, emphasises and radiates the feeling of care and embrace. As a visitor to this residential care centre, one knows immediately where you are, due to the literal interpretation of Rozenberg which translates to “mountain of roses”.

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

The closer I move to my authenticity and truthfulness, the more feelings of freedom, contentment and connectedness are nourished. That is what I am in search of, despite the ruggedness at times. Bringing a creation to life, creates the space for internalizing and reflection on existential themes. This makes me calm and brings clarity. The act of creating invariably leads back to nature, to the organic and the geometry, the building bricks of the micro- and macro cosmos, bound to the infinite process of transformation.
