This is made by Japanese animation Gundam toy, I choose Gundam for cultural system, this special system is belong to our times. What we see and messages or memories we get through observations in terms of visual arts presentation are quite complex and the artwork often sparks out a wrestling between viewers and texts. In the process of globalization, symbols have been transferred from one social culture to another, and not only they have been replicated over and over, and diverted, which indeed has led to changes in the subject context. Impacts caused by such transformation initiates an effect between the artwork itself and viewers, and furthermore develop multiple explanations concerning the context. Based on the particular reconstruction approach the author applies to symbols, changes are thus made to the original meaning of context, and these changes become more clearly for viewers because they come from different social fields. In a series of dynamic processes, we learn that meanings are not hidden within the art piece, but decoded during observations are taken place, in other words, meanings are generated through coding. Therefore, no meanings are concealed in all of the author’s artworks as how modernism approaches stand for: the artist is placed in an absolute powerful spot with regards to the pursuit of authenticity and truth, so that meanings are then drawn up and spread out to others in one single manner. All the author has done is simply summoning that I choose particular ideologies existing in the current social fields and use them as materials, elements for summoning, and during the process I misplace some summoning experiences in order to initiate a series of dynamic procedures, re-consider the function of art and the conversion occurred while mechanisms are generating meanings. The author’s paper as well as the core of artworks emphasize on a series of tactics and uses of mechanism such as diverting, irony, collage, parody, adaptation, copy, and text poaching. All of these represent a layer of meaning, a layer of related products fighting against the mechanism, and a layer of meaning connected to historic context. Every tactic that has been adopted by artists is a struggle between artists plus their works and the society, and it also represents footprint and proof of an activity. The author’s attempt is to reveal values behind these tactics and meaning generated.
