About The Artwork
In the 1980's, I came to know Umberto Sforza, of the Sforzas who ruled Milan during the Renaissance. Patrons of Leonardo and Michelangelo, the family still buys sculptures, and I was fortunate enough to receive three sizeable commissions. After finding an exquisite piece of Statuario marble, I started to carve what today makes me say, "I can't believe it was me who carved that." Thanks with all my heart for giving me the opportunity to sculpt this.
