ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Etude 3 "Orpheus" Can we see the sounds? To hear the weather? To love the other? To live without your shadow? To be, not the whole world, but only a fraction of it? Every person we meet is stacked as a string in our soul instrument. And we play it with our whole body, only one sonata, the requiem of the surprised beast. Narrowed eyes, ears, hearts, the sheet music of the other seem fake, we are deaf to the whole symphony. Orpheus is not a musician. He is a DJ, mixing pieces from this and the other world. And we all shake bones and hairs until the dance of time is over. And then we'll probably see who we danced for. For flowers and silence from the small garden of overpowering humility. Or for the catcalls and applause of the overrated machine of sweaty pride.
