About The Artwork
I was inspired by 1950s architecture, the heavy use of concrete and long windows, it reminds me of building you would see in the background of a scene from a comic, the detective walking the beat in New York. I have used aluminum with a textured finish, a combination of obscured glass and colored glass to fill some of the windows with color. The window colors will change as the RGB led goes through it program, this gives the piece movement. The LED components are of high quality and are in a separate custom box with a 2-meter braided silver lead.
