Art Description

Sculpture: Wood, Paint on Wood.

Inspiration for the Library Box:
The mini-library box I created is loosely based on Hamlet- one of the most influential works of world literature, which lends itself to endless adaptations and interpretations.
The characters I painted reference Hamlet, Gertrude (Hamlet’s mother), and Yorick, the court jester (skull).

Favorite book from childhood:
My favorite book growing up was The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahame.
