Project "Robot Gallery" Sculpture

I have a project "Coat Gallery", which was carried out by the group "Peppers" (O. Petrenko, L. Skripkina, "The Peppers") from 1995 to 2000. We hired a man who showed contemporary art by opening the flaps of his coat, where small works of art by current artists were placed. Thus, the viewer, who came to one opening day, unexpectedly got acquainted with another exhibition, arranged on the floors of an ordinary coat. With the movement of an exhibitionist, akin to an opening curtain, an entire exhibition suddenly opened up before an unsuspecting spectator. For each exhibition, catalogs were necessarily issued, in which there were texts of the "Peppers" group, as well as some eminent critics and curators. Like any gallery, the "Coat Gallery" carried out numerous sales, and even had a great commercial success. In general, the usual gallery activities were carried out, and thus one of the institutions of art - the gallery, together with expositions, authors, catalogs, spectators, gallery owners, art historians, employees (carrier galleries) and critics, becomes an object of art. Now, in continuation of the theme of institutionalization in art, it would be interesting for me to continue the theme of institutionality in art by creating a project, on the topic of the day, "Robot Gallery", where a man in a coat will be replaced by a robot. Many problems associated with the human factor will disappear. And a lot of pleasant and interesting things can be added. For example, it will be possible for authors to use smells and sounds, as well as elements with programmed tactility, because the carrier gallery, at the touch of a button, can turn into a massage bed, or an armchair, so the viewer can take a nap on the opening day if he is tired. Also, such a gallery has a therapeutic and prophylactic additional effect and much more. An investor is currently being sought for this project.
