ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Part of a multiple piece series called "debris by the sea" the premise was to take discarded surf resin from shaping/glassing houses and transform the discarded resin to create beautiful sculptures. The materials gathered come from "dump buckets" and resin glass room floors and contain various elements including stirring sticks, used razor blades, cigarette butts, gum, little paint cups, candy wrappers, dirt clumps... One man's trash...
