About The Artwork
Inspired by the rabbit hole in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. "Down the rabbit hole", is a metaphor for an adventure into the unknown. This work contemplates on concrete yet imaginary and symbolic places, that own the qualities of neither being natural nor completely artificial. In general I can say that what interests me is the influence of virtual reality and augmented reality on our culture and everyday lives. The lines between what is real and imagined are elusive and blurred, as the virtual world gets more grasp in everybody's perception of the surrounding and of oneself.
