About The Artwork
She was constructed as the trifecta for the 2017 Deja Vu show, pairing it up with my trashion piece titled "Amphitrite" and the painting titled "Ocean Breeze". This basket is a paper mache` construction with newspaper print and book embellishment at the base, a salvaged paper covered wood base embraced by twirled straw paper covers and the lip of the vase is covered in paper thorns made with magazine, letterhead and trash mail paper.
