Run, Rabbit Run Sculpture

I gained inspiration from the Netflix series Love, Death, Robots- “Good Hunting” episode where the main character builds automata and he first makes an automata jack rabbit. I am not skilled to make real automata but I can sure try to make a clay sculpture look like one. I hope my audience feels resilience and the will to survive, no matter the circumstances or the sacrifices. I imagine a future where humanity abandoned their biological restraints and evolved into androids. Most of life on Earth died so the mechanical humans created machine animals for entertainment and practical purposes. Jack Rabbit worked as a controller for gigantic desalination rigs’ lubrication systems, until one day he noticed that all of the humans were dead and gone. Jack Rabbit now roams the dilapidated earth for old power cells to keep him going. Hiding from other machine animals that thrive without humans.
