About The Artwork

As I celebrate nature’s influence and inspiration in my artistic journey, I have carefully chosen and created a composition I call “Seeds of Mother Earth” to emphasize the importance of ‘Seeds' as a symbolic reality in the evolution to our planet. This composition would like to allure us to realise the beauty of nature and how we depend and how we protect the beginning of the creation of life. By creating this artwork and materializing it in a bronze sculpture, is my way of appreciating the effect nature has on our life’s. This bronze was cast in the V&P Tassis Art Foundry and needed 24 moulds for its creation. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the highest quality. The production of this bronze takes 3-4 months to complete and is a limited edition of 8 and weighs 70 kg

In 2012 he collaborated with Vladimiros Kiriakidis and Efi Mouriki, creating the set designs for the plays “Extremities and Mnimonio-akrotites” In 1984 Kotsiréas began six years of study (1984-1990) at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague, The Netherlands. There the artist specialised in Painting, Drawing and Graphic Art and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Set and Costume Design.
