About The Artwork
This work for me is inspired by the great Alexander Janvier. It came to me after a conversation with my friend. In this new time we are all experiencing Mourning. Wether that’s the loss of a loved one or the loss of a “normal” celebration. This for me is not a work that is dark. However a reflection of our humanity and it’s resilience. How will we mourn and keep moving? What does the full fruition of mourning truly look like and can it be beautiful?
